Anxiety running a little high right now? That’s very normal during the holidays and if you struggle with it regularly and/or you’re a trauma survivor it’ probably a bit heightened. Just breathe. Really - just breathe.
Psychologists and others recommend the 4-7-8 method. Here’s how it works. Inhale for 4 seconds. Hold it for 7 seconds. Exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat at least 5 times. If you need to continue longer go for it. Bring in Michael to calm you.
