Good bingeing activates the part of our brain that’s all about ‘reward’ which then produces dopamine and we feel good. In terms of holiday bingeing to boost your mood I wouldn’t recommend food which would be super easy to do with all of the baking and social get-togethers.
Instead think about your non-food guilty pleasure. Maybe it’s a physical activity like running, dancing or skijoring. Maybe it’s reading. Get out that one book you’ve been dying to start. Maybe it’s a tv show/series or a certain artist’s music or a music genre…games, puzzles. It doesn’t matter as long as it’s positive and won’t pack the pounds on. Tzaphkiel can bring it all in.
