Psychologists tell us that ‘othering’ is a kind of ignorance that’s buried deeply within our human motivations. It’s the act of highlighting our differences, and then using those differences as justification for boundaries and hierarchies.

We do this because our human nature needs to make sense of the world. When we organize by ‘us vs them’ we’re able to find our social identity. It allows us to take our world from complex to simple.

It also sets up division and struggles for everyone. It echoes of ‘lumping and labeling’.

Instead we should focus on our positive similarities and shared goals and visions for betterment. When we do that we come together to build our world rather than attack it.

Uriel, Zadkiel, Metatron, Zachariel, Jophiel, Laviah, Jeremiel, Raguel, and Haniel work together to overcome the dark and create this.
