Entry 337

According to Aristotle ‘the virtuous person alone can attain happiness, and the virtuous person can never be miserable in the deepest sense, even in the face of misfortune which keeps him from being happy or blessed’.

What Aristotle means is that we hold an element within us that we have greater control over (virtue) compared to what we have lesser control over such as relationship, health, wealth, and so on.

Moral character containing courage, generosity, justice, friendship and citizenship compromise virture.

As we all walk our healing journey then we can turn to Michael and Uriel and Haniel.

“Michael, Uriel and Haniel, in light and love, bring forth these qualities in me that I might expand them into a more virtuous life and in so doing find greater happiness. Thank you, Michael, Uriel and Haniel.”
