Entry 439

One of my favorite book is The Brothers Karamazov by Dostoevsky.

It resonates with anyone who’s experienced trauma in that it speaks to the self-destructive behavior that we engage in when we don’t get the help that we need.

It’s about selfhood.

What is selfhood? It’s our individual identity.

We lose that in trauma and sometimes even when we simply struggle with life.

Zadkiel helps us to engage our inner selves.

“Zadkiel, I’ve lost ‘me’. I don’t know who I am or who I’m supposed to be. In light and love, direct me to my true identity - not someone manufactured by this world - but the real me. Thank you, Zadkiel.”
