Emotional murder is a real thing and causes great psychological trauma. It’s sometimes referred to as soul murder.

It’s a systematic destruction of someone via psychological and emotional abuse. Often times, but not always, this could involve a married partner having an affair. Whatever the reason it involves lying and deception, and requires professional help and removal from the situation.
