Kenny Chesney’s song “There Goes My Life” speaks to what it means to lose your life to someone else.

Parents often feel like they lose their life when their children come into this world. What they find out though is that they find their life…in loving their children.

Being a parent helps teach us how to look outside of ourselves. It teaches us how to give of ourselves. It teaches us how to sacrifice and in return receive something even more valuable.

Chamuel lights the way for losing one’s life.
