Our minds…Our brains…are the most precious part of us. They’re the control center for every physical, mental and emotional function.

When parts start to falter it affects everything else.

For those who suffer from Alzheimer’s/Dementia, let alone extreme trauma, the toll and the sacrifice is beyond comprehension for most except for maybe the caregivers. To watch your loved one gradually slip away encompasses a trauma all its own.

And for the person slowly losing their grip on reality it’s the ultimate nightmare.
