Entry 201

Children with chronic illness fall prey to emotional issues and depression. They could feel sad, overwhelmed, depressed. This is normal…and healthy according to the medical community. Healthy as long as those issues are acknowledged and addressed - not dismissed or swept under the rug because they’re uncomfortable to talk about.

Children with chronic illness do feel ‘different’ and sometimes become socially isolated. They may even deal with fear and pain. With effective, intentional efforts to discuss what they are experiencing, these children learn to manage this rollercoaster of chronic illness.

Michael brings guidance on these communications.

“Michael, in light and love, show me how to open these conversations, even though unpleasant sometimes, so that my child knows they have support through my love. I want my child to build resiliency. Thank you, Michael.”
